My friend Tommy says that coming back to work after a good vacation is like taking a poison back into your body. Your body fights it, but it's too strong - eventually you succumb and the poison takes over until you're numb and go mindless back to the work at hand.
Today, the poison is working. Back to the grind.

similar thoughts, that i always need a vacation to recover from vacations,
or often (not being a minister) that i need to GET BACK to work on monday to rest from all that i pack into a weekend.
strange though to call the 'usual grind' poison, if that's what we (suicidally) choose.
is it not just the mind set?
does what we formulate in words reveal--or determine--how we feel?
welcome back¡
