Quick Joke

Here's one I came across, thought others might enjoy this sappy pun:

Lost on a rainy night, a nun stumbles across a monastery and requests shelter there. Fortunately, she's just in time for dinner and was treated to the best fish and chips she's ever had.

After dinner, she goes into the kitchen to thank the chefs. She is met by two brothers, "Hello, I'm Brother Michael, and this is Brother Charles."

"I'm very pleased to meet you. I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful dinner. The fish and chips were the best I've ever tasted. Out of curiosity, who cooked what?"

Brother Charles replied, "Well, I'm the fish friar."

She turns the other brother and says, "Then you must be...?"

"Yes, I'm the chip monk."

Go ahead and groan, but you know you wanna laugh!

I will use this the next time I teach my students about the Middle Ages. I think it's funny.

Yep, I just love "monk" and "nun" jokes. I don't know why, I think they're just hilarious. Do you have any favorite jokes of that genre to share?

Try this one I read in Reader's Digest just today:

When a nun collapsed in the sales representative's office at our time-share resort, the sales rep ran to get help from the front-desk manager.

"Two Nuns walked into the sales office, and one of them fainted!" she exclaimed.

Unfazed, the manager just looked at her.

"Aren't you going to do anything?" said the sales rep.

He replied, "I'm waiting for the punch line."

Enjoy!
